There is no simpler way to get on and off toll highways while riding your motorcycle than using
the EZPass system.
THINK ABOUT IT
No more sitting at risk of being rear ended in slow moving toll lines while the 75 mph mini van, complete with a cell phone distracted driver and all the driving skills of John Q. Public, comes closing on in!
No more slipping to a stop upon a surface coated with a special blend of undercarriage droppings, oil, and antifreeze - or putting foot down in same!
No more "delay of game" flags while stripping off gloves, and desperately seeking toll ticket and/or cash
The only way it could be better would be an alliance between helmet manufacturers and EZPass whereupon the little ez chip is "set" into your helmet. As long as you have your helmet, your good to go-
Do not hold your breath for that to take place. EZPass won't even issue the tag displayed above for a motorcycle - instead you are ordered to accept this:
Which belongs in one kind of vehicle - inside your car. They claim it works through your fairing ( didn't matter to the EZPass rep I do NOT have a fairing) or they say simply place inside your pocket-WRONG! At least not my HJC leather jacket, it might as well been lead lined! The above tag is J-U-N-K.
Simple solution - indicate your car has an optional high end windshield that "blocks" the suns harmful rays, and take the EZPass they provide for such situations and mount it on your front fork.
Its weather proof and perfectly sized to fit. Mine survived wire tied for a few years, but these brackets are a new find & much better way to go -
